Step 1
Hold the ends of a 1.5" diameter heavy jump rope. Be sure to grip in a comfortable position that will allow you to swing with minimal ground contact.
Step 2
Swing the rope forward over your head and jump over it with both feet.
Step 3
Be sure to use your shoulders to propel the rope, not your wrists. Each time your feet clear the rope counts as 1 rep.
